A technical workshop was held in the Coimbra region to disseminate the knowledge generated by the LIFE AdaptaBlues project in the Mondego estuary to local and regional stakeholders.

The main goal of this workshop was to promote the application of estuarine conservation and restoration actions as Nature-based solutions for adapting to the effects of climate change in the coastal area of Portugal.

The main results of the LIFE AdaptaBlues project in the Coimbra region were presented to the public. These results include the flooding risk analyses and the restoration actions carried out in the Mondego estuary as a pilot site for implementing restoration activities as a Nature-based solution against the effects of climate change. Likewise, our catalogue of adaptation measures was presented, providing all relevant information and demonstrating its usefulness for decision-making.
